Meet the Artist--Sunday, September 7, 1-4 PM
Artist Robert (Bob) Stotts currently has a show of oil paintings hanging in Prairie Arts and Fibers, on the 'gallery wall'. Bob is a versatile artist, trained in multiple media. His oil paintings are in the Impressionist tradition, with a focus on capturing something authentic, and intimate, about his subjects. Bob lives in Prairie Crossing.
Come meet Bob, and chat with him about his work. Refreshments will be served.
Jewelry Trunk Show--Susan Elizabeth Designs, Sunday, September 21, 1-4
Susan Eichstaedt is a young jewelry designer, trained in metalsmithing at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her love of both art and craft is reflected in her work, much of which has a slightly whimsical flair to it. You can see her work at susanelizabethdesigns.com--and we will be carrying selected pieces in the store.
You're invited to meet Susan, and share in refreshments.
A day with a designer! Saturday, November 8
We're making plans for a trunk show and workshop with felting designer Marie Mayhew, of Minnesota. Marie specializes in seasonal projects, like pumpkins and snowmen--fun to make for yourself or to give as gifts. Plans are being finalized, but we anticipate doing a water felting class on November 1, using Marie's designs, to be followed by a finishing/embellishment class with her on November 8. Participants in Marie's class will be expected to attend both sessions. The trunk show (open to all) will be from 10AM-noon, and the workshop from 1-4.

Bring your lunch (beverages and cookies provided), and plan to spend the whole day!
There will be no charge for the trunk show; class and workshop fees are yet to be determined.
